Who can take lessons?
Anybody who wants to take lessons.

The youngest starting age for a student is usually five to six years old, about the time they enter elementary school school. Lessons begin at a half-hour in length, and as the student desires more complex training (or at such time as more complex training becomes the next step), students can take an hour-long lesson.

Most adults, whether having taken lessons before or simply wishing they could, often believe it is too late to start. While there are many reasons for starting younger, the gift of music isn't meant to be known in a single time frame. All people learn differently and can be taught differently. This includes when they are taught. Adults are welcome and encouraged to take lessons regardless of their background. No one will be turned down.

Typically, lessons are once each week; However, we are flexible and work around schedules to best accommodate a busy lifestyle.

Payment for Lessons: Bills will be written out at the end of the month, with payment being due at the next lesson. Special arrangements can be made for those wishing to pay differently. This will be discussed further at your first lesson.

Cancellation of a Lesson: Should cancellation of a lesson occur for any reason, please let the instructor know with at least a 24 hour notice. In this case, a make-up lesson can be set up before your next scheduled lesson. Special circumstances such as sickness, emergencies, or vacations will be handled on a one-on-one basis.

Missing a lesson: Without giving the instructor prior notice, a missed lesson is a situation where you must pay for the instructor's time which he has set aside for your lesson.

Success! To succeed in music requires consistent practice. Practice won't make you perfect, but consistent practice will make you better!
